TODAY’S HURRICANE TIP:

by Shirlian Queeley

Start preparing your home now by repairing or replacing broken or damaged fences. Loose boards, collapsing panels and rotted posts can become projectiles during a storm or hurricane, which can damage roofs, windows or cars.

The 2020 Hurricane season has begun and multiple forecasters are predicting an active season. Tropical Storm Cristobal, the third named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season is expected to make landfall on the central Louisiana coast near Houma just after 1 pm on Sunday bringing ‘life-threatening’ flooding and strong winds. #BeReadyStayReadyItOnlyTakesOne
