{"id":8624,"date":"2025-05-28T19:20:52","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T19:20:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dmca.gov.ms\/?p=8624"},"modified":"2025-05-28T19:20:52","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T19:20:52","slug":"dmca-hosts-national-simulation-to-test-mass-casualty-readiness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/dmca.gov.ms\/?p=8624","title":{"rendered":"DMCA Hosts National Simulation to Test Mass Casualty Readiness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Disaster Management Coordination Agency (DMCA) today hosted a national tabletop simulation exercise to assess Montserrat\u2019s readiness for a mass casualty incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exercise was designed to test stakeholder coordination, operational readiness, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the effectiveness of a unified command structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants included officers from the Montserrat Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS), Royal Montserrat Police Force (RMPF), and the Royal Montserrat Defence Force (RMDF).
