{"id":8992,"date":"2026-08-26T16:39:06","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T16:39:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dmca.gov.ms\/?p=8992"},"modified":"2026-08-26T16:39:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T16:39:06","slug":"dmca-welcomes-ccrif-intern-to-montserrat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/dmca.gov.ms\/?p=8992","title":{"rendered":"DMCA Welcomes CCRIF Intern to Montserrat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Brades, Montserrat | 25 August 2026<\/strong> \u2014 The Disaster Management Coordination Agency (DMCA) is pleased to welcome Ms. Fiona Guzman, a national of Trinidad and Tobago, who has joined the Agency for a 10-week internship through the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF) Regional Internship Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Guzman, who commenced her internship on Monday, 24 August 2026, holds a BSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Management from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During her placement, Ms. Guzman will assist the DMCA with key disaster resilience initiatives, including vulnerability mapping for hurricanes, tsunamis, flash floods and other hazards.
